Trek the south-western peaks of Mahri for
the identification of Return to Base camp in the evening
.

Trek
to the surrounding Rohtang Pass(altitute 4150mts.) 16
km from Mahri Base to identify herbs and plants. Return
to base camp.

Trek to the mountains to see landscape and
identify herbs and plants in the morning and return
by 2pm to base camp for cleaning and identification
of the plants and herbs.

Depart Mahri for Dartse Sumdo(Dharcha) 115km.Camp
at Dartse Sumdo(the point where 3 rivers meet)

Trek to Baryo village and surrounding area
to for identification of herbs and plants. Afternoon
return to base camp to have lecture on Tibetan Medicine.
Day
10
Trek to Yultse village(10km) to pick up herbs
and plants. Visit the village closeby to have a glimpse
of the village life. Return to base camp.
Day

Dr. Dolkar will hold free medical camp for
the benefit of the local inhabitant.

Depart for Baralacha(4800mts.)55kms from Dartse Sumdo
and overnight camp at Bharatpur-6 kms below Baralacha.
Afternoon free for rest and washing. Depart
for

Trek to Baralacha for picking herbs
and plants. Return to base camp at 2pm for cleaning
and identification.

Trek to surrounding peaks for picking herbs
and plants. Reurn to base camp at 2pm for cleaning and
identification.

Depart for PANG(northern Ladakh region)and
overnight camp.

16
Trek surrounding mountains to pick up herbs
and plants. Return to base camp for cleaning and identification.
(it may be interesting to note that from PANG, the LEH
town is just 120km and some of participants may wish
to visit, because from here the main itinerary is completed.)

Depart PANG and overnight stay at
DARTSE SUMDO.
Day

Depart DARTSE SUMDO and check in to
hotel at Manali for overnight stay.

Leisure day for rest and personal shopping
and group dinner at the TIBETAN RESTAURANT :CHOPSTICK.

Early morning depart for Delhi by coach and
check into hotel in Delhi for overnight stay.

Day
long sight seeing of Delhi and group fare-well dinner,
followed by transfer to IGI AIRPORT.
